Who we are

The mission of the Living Waters District of the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church is to embrace, empower and inspire our area to embody the love of God in Christ Jesus.

  • There are two Wesley Foundation ministries in the district: Longwood University/Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville and Virginia State University in Ettrick.  Both have appointed pastors and are looking for ways to begin connecting the two in mission and ministry.
  • Brunswick County / Boydton is an area rich in the beginnings of Methodism in Virginia.  Brunswick County is currently split between the districts.

We serve 18 Counties,10 Towns/Cities = 7,330 square miles!
